Our little hobby is located in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada. Just 45 minutes west of Ottawa, our Nations Capital.

Our interest in the breed began the summer of 2000 when we brought home our first Rottweiler Zoë. Like so many of us, I quickly fell in love with these amazing dogs. Although Zoë was not a show dog, she certainly opened our eyes and heart to the wonderful qualities of this fantastic breed.

Soon thereafter Mason 'SG1 Ch. Kayla's the Paladin Kaynoble, TT, CGN' came into our lives and introduced me to the world of dog shows. Mason did extremely well competing in the CKC and Sieger conformation rings, obtaining his championship before the age of 18 months and placing SG1 at the age of 12 months. Needless to say, I quickly became hooked on these two new sports but little did I know at the time just where they would take me.

Annie, Ch. 'Kaynoble's Twist N Shout, TT' was the next addition to our growing herd and is our foundation bitch behind Eirian Rottweilers producing some very outstanding offspring. Annie is now retired and deservingly so; she has been an absolute joy to live with and will continue on helping us rear our next generation of Eirian rottweilers.

Bowen, 'Multi V-1, Multi Group 1st, AOM, Am Major Ptd, Can/CFC/UCI Int'l Ch. Kaynoble's Noble Heritage, 7xCACS, CGN, HIC, TT' was our next dog and has done extremely well in the AKC, CFC, CKC, UCI and Sieger conformation rings. Bowen will be used in our breeding program as our kennel grows and will continue showing and working towards various titles.

Piper, 'Multi BTISS, BCBSS, BISs, CKC Ptd Eirian's Halfpipe Alley Oop, CGN, HIC, TT' was not only our first Eirian puppy to reside with us but also our first rottweiler to sport a natural tail. Piper has recently begun her show career being awarded Best in Sweeps and twice now holding the title of Best Tailed in Specialty Show. Piper has been training in obedience and tracking and has excelled extremely well in both.

Brava, 'CKC Ptd Eirian's Creative Energy, HIC, TT' is one of the current dogs we will be focusing our efforts on. Brava is a very smart and eager young girl with a beautiful headpiece and outstanding conformation. She has successfully attained both her Herding Instinct and Temperament Test certifications in the past year.

Jimmy, 'BISs Hanbar Hendrix, HIC', is the latest addition to Eirian Rottweilers; he was purchased from Chris and Norma Window of Hanbar Rottwelers in England. Jimmy is a very confident young boy with excellent structure and is certainly a credit to Chris and Norma's breeding program. We look forward to showcasing Jimmy in the CKC and Sieger conformation rings in the near future.

Gabi, 'BPISS, BTISS Gabriele van het Falconsnest' is one of our up and coming young girls from the world renowned Falconsnest kennel, located in Belgium. Gabi made her conformation debut at the 2008 RCC National Specialty and wowed us by winning 'National Best Puppy in Specialty' and 'Best Tailed in Specialty' at just 8 months of age. Gabi comes from a long line of show winning dogs but more importantly to us are the working dogs in her impressive pedigree, therefore we will be focusing our energy, training in the sport of Schutzhund while attending some Sieger and CKC conformation shows as she matures.

Miran, 'Miran vom Carrabba Haus, HIC' came to us from Vince and Lisa Carrabba of New Jersey. Miran is a very spirited and beautifully refined young female who we look forward to showing in CKC and Sieger conformation shows. Miran also shows tremendous working potential as she demonstrated earlier this year when she easily attained her Herding Instinct Certification at the very young age of 6 months. We are very excited about showing this young hopeful off once she matures and is ready to make her grand entrance.

Owning and occasionally breeding is a passionate hobby for me but to truly do justice to this breed I firmly believe that public education and setting aside a small part of my day to volunteer in various clubs is the key. To this point I am an active member of our National breed club, the Rottweiler Club of Canada, currently serving as the Awards Chair, having served a 2 year term as the Ontario Director and chairing a position on the Sieger/Schutzhund committee. I support our local all-breed club, the Ottawa Kennel Club, where I hold a membership and manage the clubs email distribution.

We are a very busy family with three fantastic children, Chelsea age 18, Jasmine age 16 and Jackson age 14. Our family is actively involved in Soccer, Hockey, Paddling and Basketball, so if we're not at a show with one of the dogs you can probably find us at a sporting event watching one of our kids compete.
